1. An authentic relationship with Jesus is my priority.
2. I love to pluck my eyebrows. I have to be careful not to get carried away!
3. I didn’t start drinking until my 30’s. I hate beer and red wine, but adore margaritas, flavored martinis and sweet white wines.
4. Alcohol clears my mind
5. Music, especially praise and worship, moves me. It’s like a language my soul speaks. I was born to worship.
6. I hate… nope, not a strong enough word – detest large crowds.
7. Diet Coke makes me happy.
8. I find quilting therapeutic.
9. I am not athletic and dislike most sports.
10. I cannot spend money on stuff for my house.
11. I can spend a LOT of money on books.
12. I love flirting with my husband.
13. I was a flight attendant. The job wasn’t nearly as glamorous as I thought it would be. In fact, it was very lonely. I hated it. Except that I got to go to Paris, Narita, Seoul and Taipei.
14. I remember old phone numbers from jr. high.
15. I have diagnosed ADD. There are things about it that suck, but I enjoy the strengths, as well. For instance, I cannot, for the life of me, multi-task, but I am a great out-of-the-box problem solver.
16. I NEED nine hours of sleep at night, but would prefer ten.
17. I love containers and putting things in them.
18. I’m not particularly a kid person, unless they’re mine.
19. I’m also not a dog person, unless they’re mine.
20. I am an introvert, unless I’ve been drinking. Then I can (and will) talk to anyone.
21. I’ve never received a speeding ticket.
22. I’ve been in 2 car accidents that were more than a fender bender. One was my fault.
23. I’d rather be in labor again than go to the dentist.

25. My favorite movies are Thomas Crown Affair, Emma and Charlie’s Angels.
26. I don’t like spicy food.
27. I have no respect for people who think they’re perfect.
28. I LOVE Mac cosmetics.
29. Shoes are a weakness of mine. LOVE THEM.
30. I am generous. Gifts are my love language.
31. I have lived in five states. I enjoyed Colorado more than I let myself believe.
32. I adore my wedding ring. It’s not the original.
33. I want to travel to England, Paris, Uganda and the Holy Land.
34. I wish I was more of an original thinker.
35. I’m aging too quickly.
36. I’m looking forward to my forties.
37. I am a well-loved woman.
38. I can be high-maintenance.
39. My best features? My eyes and long legs, but mostly, my lips. Hubby agrees.
40. What I would change? Thicker hair, longer waist, bigger bra size. I’d consider surgery….
41. I HATE Wal-Mart, but I love their prices – so I go. On the other hand, Target feels like home. Makes me happy just to be there. Everything I save at Wal-mart gets spent at Target!
42. I really hate grocery shopping, but am very conscious to not take it for granted. I know there are women in this world who don’t enjoy this privilege.
43. My favorite store is Anthropologie, but I can never justify spending as much as I would like to.
44. I had my gallbladder out when I was 34. It made my life miserable.
45. I wasn’t a good student until college. I didn’t finish though – and I’m super okay with it.
46. I’ve watched Days of Our Lives for the past 20 years.
47. One of my lifelong dreams is to go to L.A. for a backstage Days tour.
48. Turbulence doesn’t bother me. Must’ve been my days as a flight attendant. Heights, however, TERRIFY me.
49. I’m glad I had the faith in God and my husband to leave home. I’m not the same person for it. A good thing.
50. I wish I were parenting in the 1940’s and 50’s. It was a simpler life.
51. Moochers and those who cry “poor mouth” make me INSANE!!!
52. I don’t watch or read the news. Too depressing. Why worry about that which I have no control over??
53. My favorite memory: The night I surprised hubby with tickets to John Mayer at Chastain Park in Atlanta. A good, good night. I maybe have never seen him so happy. (Major life events excluded.)
54. I can be obsessive, I am definitely impulsive – but I am not compulsive.
55. I hate sand. Detest it, actually. It gets EVERYWHERE. (cringe & shudder)
56. And while I’m talking about the beach, I hate salt water too. Makes me gag. But I’m all about the pool.
57. Things I want to learn: Spanish, guitar, iMovie.
58. The artistic, creative gene in my family somehow skipped me. I come from a line of artists and designers – and I didn’t even get neat handwriting. I wish I could draw.
59. I love surprises and surprising people. Generously.
60. I strongly prefer to wear matching bra and panties. You know, in case I’m ever in an accident.
61. Unless we’re counting black as a color now, red is my favorite.
62. I hated piano lessons. All 11 years of them. I’ve barely played since I quit taking. It robbed me of pursuing other things.
63. I hate massages. Just can’t get over the idea of someone touching me all over. Unless it’s hubby.
64. I’m a rule follower and generally paranoid. (Did ya’ guess I’m a firstborn?)
65. I love my son’s breath, especially in the morning.
66. I HATE my name mostly because of the scores of ignorant people who do not pay enough attention to just pronounce it correctly.
67. My favorite scent is Aveda.
68. I don’t enjoy entertaining, unless it’s adults only.
69. Baking cookies makes me feel like a good mom.
70. I used to hate Starbucks. Now it’s a treat! My favorite way to start the day.
71. I love sunlight and natural lighting. I get depressed without it.
72. I really admire Beth Moore.
73. Scary movies well, scare me. So I don’t like them.
74. Someone cleans my house every week and I am so, so grateful. (Hubby’s idea.)
75. I rarely cook on the weekends. We just kind of wing it.
76. My favorite car was a two-seater Toyota MR2 – silver, with a spoiler. Darling! My least favorite car: Dodge Grand Caravan. Although, I will admit I enjoyed the functionality.
77. I almost always wear black, gray, tan or white. The craziest I get is red.
78. Once when I was EIGHT, my mother made me and my six- year old sister walk two miles to school because we missed the bus. I still can’t believe it.
79. The most adventurous thing I’ve ever done: snorkel. And I didn’t see much. I won’t do it again.
80. I grew up without a television.
81. I’m a great cook, if I do say so myself. But again, not very adventurous.
82. I HATE camping and would rather set my hair on fire than subject myself to rusticating outside.
83. An old back injury (from an aforementioned car accident – the one that wasn’t my fault) only bothers me in extreme cold.
84. I’ve never broken a bone.
85. The quickest way to turn me off is false humility and disingenuous flattery. Both are just another way to LIE.
86. I can do anything I set my mind to. And I’ll work my ass off doing it.
87. I have a HUGE heart for Uganda and Chinese orphans. We’re actually waiting on an adoption from China.
88. I’m excited, but scared to death to have another baby (adopted.) MY baby is nine. Life is relatively easy.
89. My second pregnancy ended in miscarriage. It was more painful than anything I’ve ever been through.
90. I cried for two days when I found out my third pregnancy was a boy. Now, I’m so glad I wasn’t in control. I totally get why mothers of some species eat their young. My lover boy is sooooo yummy!
91. I have GREAT friends who I trust implicitly all over the U.S., but only one here in Atlanta.
92. I’m getting really good at personal boundaries!
93. Spelling errors JUMP OFF the page (or sign or screen, whatever) at me.
94. When I was 20, I dated three guys who were ten years older than me. They were all losers. I was too naïve to know this.
95. I think British accents are sexy. Anything said by a Brit is worth listening to just because it sounds so brilliant.
96. I regularly have dreams that I haven’t dated anyone in a LONG time – which I haven’t – but I mean, I dream that I’m single. And I’m sad about it. I don’t know what it means, because I have an awesome marriage.
97. My daughter has diagnosed ADD. I feel guilty that she got it from me.
99. I can handle the truth. My friends know they can trust me with anything and everything.
100. I enjoyed this. I do feel a little self-absorbed at the moment, but I’m trusting it will pass. I think I’ve learned some things about myself – and it feels good. I like myself.
